Built in 1910, the Lechmere Viaduct spans the Charles River from
Lechmere Point in Cambridge to Leverett Circle in Boston. It
carries the MBTA Green Line trolley above ground from Lechmere
Station, over Leverett Circle, into the subway tunnel toward
North Station. The Museum of Science spire is visible behind the
viaduct. |
